Coming along

I have been taking things day by day the best I can,  bike racing has been a good time, but has been hard to focus on it for the last couple weeks.   Baby should be here any day now, and Kate and I are both excited for new adventures.  I hope to still keep some form for some crits in late june and july.

Our team won the team comp at opus.  I didn’t manage to get any points the last couple weeks, but was riding good and got quite a few the first couple.

Did go ride cuyuna with Ford one weekend, and rode every trail.  I think my favorite this time was the two way heading back from Yawkey.

Freewheel Bike

I am excited to say I am racing for freewheel bike for 2012.  Grandstay was a great team and I am sad to see the team come to an end,  much success there with a bunch of great guys and good friends.  For 2012 I have been asked to join the new Freewheel team.  I have got to know the owner over the last year, and like his ideas on bikes and racing.  They have been around since 1974 but have just recently opened a shop out in Eden Prairie to compliment there midtown store and west bank store.

I think we have put together a good team with a good set of motivated guys and hope to hit the podium more in 2012!  Some old teammates and some new.  I also hope to race some more mtb again this year and also some more cross.

I have some other excited news that I will update in another post.
